The Abdorrahman Boroumand Center (ABC) is a non-governmental non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of human rights and democracy in Iran.

The Center is an independent organisation with no political affiliation. It is named in memory of Dr. Abdorrahman Boroumand, an Iranian lawyer and pro-democracy activist who was assassinated, by the agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in Paris on 18 April, 1991. The Center believes that promoting human rights awareness of Iranians through education and the dissemination of information is fundamental to a stable democracy in Iran.

At the heart of The Abdorrahman Boroumand Center are the values enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948. ABC works to ensure that human rights in Iran are promoted and protected without discrimination, whether it be on the basis of one's gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or national origin. Based on the foregoing principles, the Center adopts as its mandate the promotion of public awareness of issues concerning democracy and human rights in Iran.

Through its programs of research, documentation, publications, and outreach, the Center aims to draw attention to the serious human rights violations – including frequent use and arbitrary application of the death penalty in Iran in order to stimulate awareness of these issues and to promote an active approach to ending these human rights violations – and hopes to help restore the dignity of Iran's countless victims.

Right now, we are seeing the biggest women's rights movement in the history of Iran, led by teen girls and Iranian women. Women’s rights are human rights and we’re proud to stand by our Iranian sisters. 100% of funds generated from the sales of Iran Freedom Edition #TOGETHERBANDs to the Abdorrahman Boroumand Center.

Join us and show your support for the women and girls of Iran and UN SDG 5: Gender Equality. It’s crucial that the international community stands in solidarity with our Iranian sisters at this time.
